2x2 is a traveling exhibition celebrating the Colour and Form Society's 55th anniversary. All artworks are two feet by two feet in size (including frame) and present a wide thematic array of two-dimensional paintings in various media such as watercolours, acrylics, and oils.
The Colour and Form Society is an invitational Society of professional artists. The Society was inaugurated in 1952 and is based in Ontario. The Colour and Form Society is an exhibiting Society, with a continually evolving membership of close to one hundred professional artists. The Society is non-commercial in character, promoting quality art and freedom of expression. Its members consistently exhibit throughout the year. Since its formation in 1952, the Society has continued to grow, welcoming artists from different parts of the world. The Colour and Form Society is now an integral part of the artistic community of Canada and is one of the major art societies in Ontario.
