The Latcham Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of painting, drawing and collage by members from the Lemonville Group of Artists. In Views from the Moraine the artists living on the edge of the Oak Ridges Moraine are investigating the changes made in this region, one time a thriving agricultural base with now an increasingly urban focus, also knows as their backyard. Through this exhibition, the artists strive to preserve and document the legacy and heritage of this valuable area of Southern Ontario. The exhibition showcases the different artistic approaches and diversity of media in which the artists express their awareness and appreciation of every aspect of the Moraine. Through this exhibition, the artists encourage the viewers to embrace nature and become aware of the natural history of the Moraine and their own surroundings.

This exhibition is generously supported by the Ontario Arts Council and the Town of Witchurch-Stouffville.
