This exhibition offers artists working in all media the opportunity to have their work evaluated by three visual art professionals serving as jurors. The public can discover a variety of work exploring ideas and themes by contemporary artists from all over Ontario while the Curator has the chance to engage with hundreds of Ontario-based artists.

And a huge thank you to our wonderful jurors, Tanya Cunnington, Liz Ikiriko, and Lee Petrie, who dedicated their time, energy, and expertise to thoughtfully selecting the pieces for our 2025 exhibition. Jurying these works was an incredibly difficult task that these three took on with dedication and enthusiasm. After several hours of careful consideration, our jurors arrived at the final selection that will make up our 2025 exhibition.

People’s Choice Award
Latcham Art Centre is pleased to announce the results of the People’s Choice Award as decided by gallery visitors. Congratulations to Dawn Connor for her work Enter the Fray (2025).
Every year this highly anticipated exhibition continues to reflect the diverse array of artistic talent that can be found within our region. From stunning paintings and sculptures to unique installations and more, the Annual Juried Exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the minds of talented artists. Over 612 votes were submitted, and closer to 2, 500 guests took in the artwork over nearly six weeks.

2025 Jurors
Liz Ikiriko is a Tkaronto/Toronto-based, Nigerian Canadian artist and curator, who has worked with many national institutions and artist-run-centres. She was a member of the curatorial committee of the 13th edition of Bamako Encounters, the African Biennial of Photography in Mali. She is the Curator at Gallery TPW and co-founder of wave~form~projects.
Lee Petrie (BA, MA, MMSt) is a Toronto-based curator and arts program manager, specializing in curating art for non-gallery spaces. Lee is Curator for Archive Hospitality, which operates Gladstone House and The Broadview Hotel in Toronto and the Postmark Hotel in Newmarket. Lee is also Chair of the Toronto Public Art Commission.
Tanya Cunnington is an Ontario-based artist and curator. She received her associate’s degree from Ontario College of Art and Design (2001), majoring in drawing and painting. Tanya’s award-winning work has been exhibited in many galleries in Ontario including MacLaren Art Centre, Quest Art, Loop Gallery and Be Contemporary. Tanya was the owner/director of Lee Contemporary Art, an independent art gallery and is now the Arts Programming Coordinator at Orillia Museum of Art and History.
