Boost your artistic confidence, harness your personal intuition and experiment with colour! Join exhibiting artist Frances Thomas for an evening workshop on abstraction using painting and drawing media. The course will begin with a guided tour of Both Sides Now, a two-person exhibition featuring Thomas. Afterward participants will learn from the artist in the studio, using exercises designed to unlock the creative power of your intuition before developing a finished artwork.
This course is suitable for artists of all experience levels. Everyone is encouraged to bring painting and drawing materials and supports to work with if you wish. Supplemental materials will be provided from Latcham Art Centre and Frances Thomas.
