Par son travail, sa pratique de commissaire d&#039;exposition et ses publications, il a dirig\u00e9 d&#039;importants projets au sein d&#039;institutions culturelles nationales de premier plan telles que le Mus\u00e9e canadien de l&#039;histoire, le Centre culturel Woodlands, le Mus\u00e9e des beaux-arts de l&#039;Ontario et Biblioth\u00e8que et Archives Canada. Son \u0153uvre novatrice l&#039;a consacr\u00e9 comme une figure de proue de la recherche sur l&#039;histoire des peuples autochtones.<\/p>\n<p>Dans sa pratique photographique, il examine les conceptions historiques et contemporaines de l&#039;autochtonie et aborde l&#039;impact de probl\u00e9matiques telles que l&#039;urbanisation, la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 fonci\u00e8re et les modes de repr\u00e9sentation historiques. L&#039;exposition <em>La salle du cartographe autochtone<\/em>, pr\u00e9sente des \u0153uvres issues de sa plus grande s\u00e9rie photographique, <em>Indiens en tourn\u00e9e<\/em>, Cette \u0153uvre met en sc\u00e8ne des figurines posant devant des monuments et des paysages nationaux.
