This exhibition features artwork resulting from a unique community art project that brings Latcham Art Centre together with a diverse group of seniors (age 55+). Through a series of conversations and creative explorations in Latcham’s studio, participants consider how aging and lived experience influence their sense of identity and self-perception. Inspired by these discussions, participants create original self-portraits that express their perspectives and discoveries.
This exhibition is currently on view at Stouffville Library.
This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
