Content Guidelines
Art in the Park is a celebration of Art and Culture. It is expected that all artists who submit applications are the creators/producers of the work. For example, art pieces are not to be made from AI, commercial kits, at paint nights, or as copies/forgeries of other artists’ work. Prints of the submitting artist’s original work are permitted. Ceramics from commercial molds and factory or mass-produced articles are not permitted. Ready-made components may be used where appropriate but must be secondary to the nature and design of the work.
In the spirit of fostering creative growth and confidence, Latcham Art Centre is pleased to support youth ages 12 – 17 at Art in the Park with discounted booth rates and the opportunity to partner with another artist aged 12 – 17 to reduce barriers to participation.

As we continue to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion at our events, we would like to make note of the harmful impacts of cultural appropriation. All artists are to be respectful of other cultures and copyright law. Artwork that constitutes cultural appropriation will not be accepted. If at the event, items of such are found, they will need to be removed from the display, or the artist will be asked to leave the event in full. This may also impact eligibility for future participation.
Along with this completed application, all artists are to submit 10 high resolution images that are samples of their artwork. These samples are to be reflective of the work intended to be for sale/on display at the event.
All exhibit spaces are outdoors. The event will take place rain or shine, so please come prepared for whatever weather conditions we may encounter. Tent weights are highly recommended. Refunds will not be issued due to rain.
All exhibit spaces are 10×10’, accessible by the front of the tent.
Artists are to provide their own tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, hanging walls and anything else required for their displays. Artists under the age of ages 12-17 requiring assistance with tents and tables be needed, please indicate that on your application.
Exhibit spaces with access to power will be limited and will be provided on a first-come first-served basis. Providing a location preference prior to the event will not be possible if power is required.
6’ Tables may be rented upon application, not on the day of the event.
Artists may request more than one exhibit space; however, no exhibit space can be shared.
A submitted application does not guarantee acceptance. Once applications are received, they will be reviewed, and the vendor will be contacted regarding application status. Selection decisions are final.
Accepted vendors will receive a contract and waiver for signing upon acceptance. The contract will contain additional information including set-up times.
