Latcham Art Centre welcomes artists from all across York Region and throughout Ontario to participate in our Annual Juried Exhibition. Year after year this exhibition continues to be a reflection of the artistic talent found within the province, and this year was no exception.
This year 149 artists submitted 277 works of art for our Annual Juried Exhibition.
With support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario, Latcham Art Centre transitioned the intake process in 2022 from an in-person to a digital format, allowing us to accommodate social distancing and navigate processing work of this magnitude during Covid.
A BIG thank you to our wonderful jurying team including Tyler Durbano, Georgia Fullerton and Yasmin Nurming-Por, who arrived with enthusiasm and commitment to the process. As you can imagine, jurying these works was an incredibly challenging task. Our jurors gave each piece careful and respectful consideration, and after several hours arrived at the final selection that will make up the 2022 exhibition.
