Latcham Art Centre welcomes artists from all across York region and throughout Ontario to participate in our Annual Juried Exhibition.
A big thank you to our wonderful external jurors, Katie Lawson, Emmanuel Osahor, and Heather Riley, who took on the process with enthusiasm and generosity. Jurying these works was an incredibly challenging task; Katie, Emmanuel and Heather gave each piece careful and respectful consideration, and after several hours arrived at the final selection that will make up the 2023 exhibition.
Latcham Art Centre is pleased to announce the results of the People’s Choice Award as decided by gallery visitors. Congratulations to Dianne Brown-Green for her work, entitled Givers of Life (2023).
Year after year this exhibition continues to be a reflection of the artistic talent found within the province, and this year was no exception. Close to 500 votes were submitted, and over 1500 guests took in the artwork throughout its six week duration. Our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted artwork, our esteemed Jurors, those who voted and those who took time to visit the Gallery.
