Overview

Initiated as a gallery wide chalkboard wall, Together Apart encouraged children and families passing through the gallery to draw or write about creativity in the community. This exhibition honours how the community centre came together (while staying apart) during the global pandemic and acknowledges the collective effort and creativity that was achieved in 2020 by allowing the public to share their thoughts and feelings about community on the chalkboard wall, and through video discussion.
