Interested in carving wood into something unique and functional? In this workshop, students will learn how to carve a small spoon from basswood! Taught by professional woodshop educator, Laura Jengle, students will be taught the importance of grain pattern and spoon carving techniques using our high quality Japanese tools. They will move onto design, carving and adding the finishing touches with sanding and applying our local wood butter. All materials provided, no experience necessary.
