Why Tour the Latcham Art Centre

The gallery and studio spaces at Latcham Art Centre provide engaging, hands-on experiences that inspire visitors of all ages and learning styles. Through guided exploration and creative practice, participants are encouraged to observe, reflect, and connect with contemporary art and ideas.

Tours and workshops designed around current exhibitions foster meaningful connections between art, individuals, and broader social themes are offered.

Guided Tour & Workshop Programs (Paid)

Children/School

  • Our tour and workshop programs are approximately 1.5 hours in length and can be adapted to fit school schedules.
  • Guided exhibition tour with discussion and observation
  • Hands-on studio workshop led by an artist educator
  • Curriculum-aligned content tailored to grade level

Adults & Community Groups

  • Participants will experience a comprehensive guided tour followed by a studio workshop.
  • Exploration of current exhibitions
  • Introduction to artistic concepts, techniques, and materials
  • Creation of an artwork inspired by the exhibition

Pricing

Kindergarten – grade 12: $12.25/student – includes all materials.
(Minimum 15 students, maximum 40 students)

Adults: $25/adult – includes all materials.
(Minimum 8 participants, maximum 40 participants)

Staff-Led Gallery Tours (Free)

For groups interested in a lighter, informal visit experience.
Latcham also offers complimentary staff-led tours for groups interested in a guided visit of the current exhibition.

  • Focused on exhibition viewing and discussion
  • Does not include a hands-on workshop
