Comic Book Storytelling (Ages 10 – 14)

Comic books are a beloved form of story-telling and have long been embraced by all ages. Whether they depict superheroes like Batman, talking animals like Garfield, slice-of-life stories like Smile, or manga heroes like Naruto, comic books have been capturing young hearts and minds for decades. In this 3-session program, participants will be guided through the principles of visual story-telling such as framing, direction and perspective and get to discover their style and voice! By the end of this program, each participant will have illustrated their very own comic book page! Beginner friendly and facilitated by Christopher Lai. No experience is necessary, and all materials are included. 

Program may be cancelled if the number of registrants does not meet the minimum requirement.
