Events – In Memory of Catherine Anne Courtney
Latcham Saturdays

Latcham Art Centre is proud to partner with the family of Catherine Anne Courtney to celebrate art and creativity with this exciting, inclusive program. It is an opportunity to learn, get creative and connect with art through hands-on art activities, art education, opening receptions, artist talks and demonstrations, tours, performances, and more!
Catherine Anne Courtney (1944-2017) was a devoted lover of art, nature and poetry. Catherine liked to create paintings of nature when she had the opportunity. She was also a collector of rocks, stones, oak and red maple leaves from wherever she travelled. She often visited the gallery and loved to engage in conversation with anyone about the artists and the subject of the artworks. Latcham Art Centre is pleased to recognize Catherine Anne Courtney and the support of her family.

Beyond Craft
This fantastic event will return in November 2021!

Information for Applicants
Application to Beyond Craft is ongoing and continues until all spots are filled. The Beyond Craft jury is looking for unique, handcrafted works in clay, glass, fabric, metal, wood, artisanal foods, and more. All items must be handmade by the applicant.
This is a guild style sale with a central cash manned by Art Centre staff and volunteers. Artisan participation fees are $80.00 per table/floor space plus 20% commission, with proceeds supporting Latcham Art Centre. Artisans set up their table and price their work, however, they are not required to be at the sale during the show. The sale fits within the guidelines of the One of a Kind Show’s exclusivity clause as there are fewer than 40 participants, and a non-profit group organizes it.
