Songwriter’s Showcase with Rodina Deva Shakti feat. Shawn Martin Charlebois & Sina Sabokrooh

Rodina Deva Shakti leads this Songwriter’s Workshop by using her talent and influence as a self taught, intuitive, musical alchemist. She has discovered the art of using music and vocal sounds to transform emotional states, enhance vibration & healing potential.

Her work includes sound healing, songwriting & vocal toning, teaching how to use the voice as a healing instrument. She enjoys teaching music to children in her New Earth Educational Workshops in Simcoe County and supporting local Songwriters offering events that showcase Artists and their Original Music. 

Shawn Martin Charlebois is a songwriter at heart. Growing up, he fell in love with the 90’s unplugged sound from bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots, among many others.

The Ontario born artist began releasing his songs in 2021. Inspired by life events, mental health, social issues and philosophy, Shawn’s simple and raw lyrics leave an impact on the listener.

Always pursuing personal growth, Shawn now gigs at local pubs, breweries, songwriters nights, farmer’s markets and other events. He considers playing live to be one of life’s greatest pleasures. Especially when he performs his original songs.

Sina Sabokrooh is a Toronto-based singer, pianist, songwriter, and composer with over 20 years of professional experience in music. His work is characterized by blending Middle Eastern and Iranian folklore melodies with contemporary Western styles. He is active across a wide range of genres, including Pop, Classical, Soul, Blues, Jazz, as well as Indian and Arabic music.

As an independent songwriter and composer, Sina has released over 30 original songs, all written and composed by himself. His music often explores deep emotional themes such as love, identity, migration, and loneliness.

He is an award-winning artist, having received the Innovation and Creativity Award from the Superior Voice Festival, won First Place at Iran’s Pop Music Festival, and served as a judge at Iran’s Superior Singing Festival.”
